Does anyone remember Milk Tray chocolate bars and can you name any no longer produced chocolates?

Hi, I was chatting with ( a much younger) friend the other day about chocolates that I had when I was a child.
I told her that I used to buy a bar of Milk Tray chocolates and I don't think she believed me.They were milk tray chocolate joined together and you could snap them off.Does any one else remember them?
I also remember Spangles and Bar Six.
Does anyone else have a favourite that isn't made anymore?

Not seen them for a while. you used to get the mint ones and the different flavour ones, like the milk tray bars.

didn't know drifters were still about. nice with a cuppa!

A lot of sweets/choccys are much smaller these days too.

Also sweets are sugar/chemical/preservative/e-number free these days and don't taste as good as they used to.

Spangles, Opal fruits (replaced by the crappy irrelevant name, starburst), Acid drops, spangles 'Old English', Aztec (they called it chocolato), Five boys (for the really old ones amongst us), Black Jacks, Fruit Salad, Black Sambos, Long Johns, Bandits, cadbury Freddo bars, Munchies - the list is endless.

reminds me of the time when i was 15 cycling cross country across freshly ploughed fields for 10+miles on valentines day with a box of milk tray getting a puncture and having to walk to the nearest town to get a puncture repair kit. Only getting to her house to find she was out. I gave the chocolates to her neighbour and went home. But stuck to the roads.

Got to school and i didn't even get a thanks. One of her friends said she would have gone out with me if i had done that for her.

End of secondary school she wrote me a long letter saying how she was in love with someone and realised what a cock he was blah blah and to ring her. She paid the 50p for the puncture repair. I never spoke to her again. Her loss :p

Fuse bars - I definitely remember those! That's how we found out my eldest had a nut allergy as hubby gave her a bit when she was about 4 and her whole face became swollen - nightmare. Apart from that they were actually quite nice!
