as title says im with orange uk i phoned up to "Deactive" my pin as i have sold my blackberry and want to be able to make sure the new owner can use it with there network, so when i phoned up i was told that the blackberry data plan had been removed from my accoun and this ment my pin had been deactivated, but i have done this before with t-mobile and after t-mobile said that i couldnt log into my blackberry t-mobile account anymore, but now i can still log into my account on orange blackberry ?

Im hoping its because it will take a few hours and i will try later but i need to send this off tommorow and hope it will be done by then.

Ask them to remove your pin from the Orange BB server so that the PIN can be registered on another BB Server on another network by someone else.

I had to do this with O2 some time back and it worked no probs. You may have to explain it in simple terms though so that the person knows that the hell you are talking about and to put you through to the correct department lol.....
