Bough something from DealExtreme a couple weeks ago but didn't use the £0.01 remove logo service. Could anyone tell me in their experience, does this make much difference or is it a case that it's believed to work but makes no difference at all?! (So DX get £0.01 more per order? )

yes my cousin sells stuff on ebay from dealextreme and it removes all dealextreme logos from packaging etc.
Dont know about customs although hes never said his customers have complained about being charged

According to the posts/forums on dealextreme, yes it does. Having said that when I've ordered anything the package is marked as a gift and contents cost is around $3.99 no matter what I've ordered or its cost, remember dealextreme want you to get the order with no problems so you'll order again. Having said that with the crackdown on the site over NDS flashcards it may now help at customs not to have the dealextreme logo on the package.

dont know what you mean

I mean the "Drop Shipment Service"

Even though they have taken the logo off surely it is law to state what is in the package and what it's value is. So customs are still aware of the packges 'contents'.

Don't know how you could run a drop from deal extreme on ebay, buyers expect their items yesterday. DX are lucky if it is the same year.

It is, but the Chinese dont care much for the laws of other countries.
Just be aware if your package is one of the many thats opened by customs and its not whats on the label it'll be confiscated

a couple years ago i sold an item through ebay which i shipped via dealextreme. Made a decent amount very quickly without ANY complaints from customers. the logo removal was very helpful. i assumed it was not for customs purposes but for drop shipping.
