As above. If I burn them onto a dvd, can I play it through my xbox or my HD-DVD player?

yep mate. i use mine all the time and it upscales the pic. on the main 360 drive

Do i just burn them onto a dvd as data files using Nero and run select it through my Dashboard?

you'd go to videos matey, not into streaming it through the network?

do as data files then go to videos and select source as dvd usin the x button i think

data sticks also work

if you don't wanna use up your blank disks you can play them straight off a memory stick too - this stops the jet engine like noise my xbox makes when using the disk drive too :)

Try wirelessly streaming makes it dead easier then drag and drops.
