i am thinking about sending this to someone on ebay as i have a feeling he has made a new identity and is trying to reck my listing. because i decined a buy it now offer.

hello and welcome to ebay! i have noticed that you are bidding on my item and that you have only just joined today, i am more than happy for you to bid on my item even though you are without any feedback as a new member of ebay, as we all have to start somewhere.
however if you are one of the people that i declined the buy it now to, and trying to sabotage my listing buy making a new identity i will not be happy. and i will contact ebay regarding this.
please excuse me if you are a genuine buyer, wanting my item.
please don't let this put you off, its just as sellers you have to watch out for people trying to reck your listing or trying to scam you. im sorry if i have caused you any upset.

Just block them, wouldn't bother with all that
#2
how do i block them?
#3
yea i would just block, it does sound a little extreme to make a new account just to annoy someone, but I guess you never know!
#4
i would be very careful about accusing someone of sabotage in light of the recent legal action against someone for merely giving feedback
#5
check the spelling, first of all its sabotage.

Tough one, if i got sent that then I'd stay well clear of you but I can see where your coming from. Can you not just block that bidder. I'm sure someone with a little more ebay knowledge will be along with more worthwhile advice. Good luck.

As above just block them, job done.

thanks all for your advice. its just i didn't want to block someone who is just wanting to buy my item.
it's just i have had this problem of people recking my listing in the past .

If you sent me that message, I wouldn't pay for any item I won.
If you have concerns, blocking is a better option.

They won't own up to trying to wreck your sale, so pretty pointless asking.

Did you proof read it before putting it on here?

it is, but it does happen...I have only sold a few things on there...last thing was a 360 game...someone took it 'buy it now' then said they couldnt get Paypal to accept their card, then sent me a message saying they had bought it elsewhere, so I disputed it and they went really weird....put a dispute in against me saying they paid by cheque (i only accept Paypal) opened an e-mail account in my name, sent themselves fake messages to show to Ebay...then sent me messages from that account pretending to be a friend and discussing the ebay transaction....

totally weird tbh but Ebay wouldnt even give them a strike or my fees back

Just another in the long line of Ebay unhappiness

So everyone advised not to, yet you sent it. What was the point of this thread.

so basically he's threatening you? seems that way to me...trying to intimidate...I would say block and get on to Ebay about it, thats harassment surely?

oh well follow the link above block him and keep an eye out on any other bidders you may have, I'd also report the whole incident with emails msgs sent etc to ebay.
I also wouldn't engage in any more contact with the guy as that will no doubt only escalate things more as the above msg did.

Ive had the exact same thing happen to me this month, its because sellers can no longer leave negative feedback so they open new accounts proberly using the same email address ( mine did) buy something of the person who left a neg or neutral, pay after you have filed a non payer, then claim it back from paypal ( which paypal 9 times out of 10 will find for the buyer)
then they can leave a retaliation negative feedback . Its happening all over ebay now

I don't bother leaving feedback since they changed it.

Just make sure he doen't win the item! Block him straightaway! Change your preferences so that buyers with less than 5 feedback cannot bid. You haven't mentioned if you've done any of the suggestions yet.
What is the item number?

I've found your item. You do know you can withdraw a bid from someone don't you. If you change your listing to state "no bids from people with less than 5 feedback", then block him, then withdraw his bid, he won't be able to bid again then. :)
