In a marriage of two of Britain's less celebrated food products, the snack company is bringing out a flavour that champions the Turkish lamb dish.

The £1.01 plastic pot contains dried noodles, dried meat pieces and stock powder. By merely adding boiling water to the pot, consumers can replicate the taste and smell of a late-night trip to the kebab shop.

It is a kebab Pot Noodle?
It would be a bargain at £101.01?
#11
Ahh Pot Noddles the saviour of the shift worker, bring it on!

Does it come with "chilli sauce mate"?
#12
Well, I'm definately gonna give it a try. Hopefully it'll have a really nice hot flavour.
#13

Er, you werent on the razzle were you?:whistling:

The last one they brought out (Southern Fried chicken) was terrible. Nothing like the real flavour so i doubt this will be good

I'll stick to chicken & mushroom

Voted Hot though because it is new!
#18
gotta try it definitely!
#19
If you keep a bottle of tobasco handy it makes all the difference!
#20
Great! Two junk foods for a quid - can't be bad. :)

Best. Idea. Ever.

Ive often wondered how and why a kebab tastes so good, even when we all know what its made of, and also how (in most cases) it has been cooked in a 'less than savoury' environment.
The rogue traders program was responsible for me not eating a kebab for about a year now, but a pot noodle should be safe enough - I cant quite see it being so, well, kebabby if indeed there is such a word. You could always buy a pitta bread and pour the pot noodle in that I suppose lol! :w00t:
#24
Kebabby or is it Kebabish, if you live in the east end,oh the irony!
#25
Now getting the heat it deserves :)
#26
Someone in the Pot Noodle marketing department got my letters then.
#27
I love love love Donner Kebabs.... but this just sounds weird. I think a huge selling point of donner is that, well, it's a spur of the moment thing. The slow rotating shaft, the smell of cooking meat, the fizz of boiling oil... oh yum. This just doesn't sound as... exquisite, if you like.

Voted hot, just because it brought back good memories. Sniff.
#28
Will deffo be trying one of these. As anothe rposter above siad, the Southern Fried Chicken one tasted nothing like, and I doubt this will too - but for a quid it certainly has to be given a fair crack of the whip!
#29
that sounds horrible
#30
Looking forward to try these :-D

Price doesn't seem great though. Don't these usually retail around the 79p mark?
#31
Yucky

The slow rotating shaft, the smell of cooking meat.
 Its the slow rotating shaft that pulls me into the kebab shop every time...lol

Not exactly a "Hot Deal" is it? A Hot Deal would mean that the price is cheaper than usual or that the item is otherwise a bargain in some kind of way.

This however is merely a new product launch and doesn't constitute a Hot Deal as it is selling at the same price as what Pot Noodles normally do.

I used to like Pot Noodles. Admitedly they're junk food, but since they reduced the salt content they seem to taste very bland these days so I don't buy them anymore. I mean junk food is all about the taste regardless of content so what's the point in bland tasting junk food?

"Kebab Pot Noodle is truly the clash of the male food titans! When it came to developing a new flavour there was one obvious choice – the nation's favourite late-night takeaway. We know men love a good kebab as well as a Pot Noodle so we thought we'd combine the two to create the ultimate man food snack."

A kebab pot noodle is a "hot deal" even when priced at £1001.01
#36
At least us Turks are getting the full credit for Kebabs (get your own fatty meat products to all you pretenders out there lol) now then....do I get asked the age old question when I buy one of these of "Chilli sauce salad?" :giggle:

I agree it's a novelty and I'll be getting one fore sure, but this site is all about bargains and this is RRP - wonder how long before it gets spammed??
#39
The votes agree :)
