dongle - Mobile Broadband - looks a little bit like a usb flash drive...

go to any phone store and you can buy them - or your internet provider may be able to help you..

You might be able to use your phone and contract if you have internet included, that's what I do, unlikely to get a 3G signal in the lakes though anyway.

i think o2 dougles are the cheapest, you can buy them instore for £10. you could get a 30 day contract or just a payg sim with credit.

if you do have internet bundle on your mobile, then you could connect your mobile to your laptop via usb and use the internet like that. If you don't and you have a mobile contract, it might be cheaper to add the internet package for a month which usually costs £5 extra and use that internet that way.
