am really sorry to hear this.

few years back my dad had cancer and at one point we were all told to expect the worse and was the most horrendeous tiime of my life ...and my families, but thankfully he pulled through.................... but I always remember a lady I met in the relatives room and she simply said to me that where there's life there is hope.

I hope that soon u will post better news about your friend

Johns my dear friend, as is his wife Claire. He spends all his time helping others, raising money for Spirit Aid. Being an amazing human. Please pray for him

craig, if there is no one at home just now that you can just let it all out too then maybe think about calling someone................even the samaritans (oh I hope your not offended at this suggestion, but I used them myself when my dad was sick as was good to cry and it was a stranger.............)

There is no shame at all in crying xxx

my aunt passed away about 6 weeks ago she had 2 'giant' annurisms and lived for 8 months with the fear of them bursting, it was dreadful to see her go to skin and bones, she was so ill perhaps it is a blessing it is so quick, still, as said above I will pray for John and Claire tonight - they are both fortunate to have a friend like you.

Dreadful situation. There will be so many unanswered questions for a while. You feel helpless but believe you me, just being there and caring is a huge task. You cannot take away their pain, just help them through. I hope he recovers but it will be a very long road to recovery ahead. You will be needed then more than ever. They are fortunate to have someone like you.

Kapows, the man is not dead.
