DPD delivery.

I missed a parcel from DPD today and the card telling me what to do next makes no sense. It says at the top that "if this is your 1st delivery attempt we'll automatically attempt a second delivery on the next working day". That's great but at the bottom of the card it says "Your parcel will be returned to the sender if you have not contacted us within 3 days of the 1st attempted delivery".

So are they delivering tomorrow or what? I tried calling but it's some automated line.

I know I can just wait and see if it turns up tomorrow but I would rather know! what's going on!

I hope I'm not being stupid. Anyone have any ideas? It's an order from scan btw.

They'll send it again tomorrow, but if your not in, THEN don't contact them within 3 days, they'll return it to SCAN, I had the same confusing card a couple of months ago, DPD are the best delivery people I've ever used, so don't worry, they'll text you a time within an hour of when they're coming again tomorrow, just make sure someones in this time!

Thanks .Yeah I'm not compaining about the quality of their service they have always been really good. This is the first delivery I've missed and the card was somewhat confusing :s. Anyways thanks :).

Check the tracking in the morning, type in your yellow card no and if the driver has left depot you will get a time slot for your delivery.
I will look at your comment about yellow card and pass on to powers that be!

My last parcel I missed with them I also got the same calling card but made sure I phoned the number and used the option to say re deliver for the following day as the card is confusing with them saying they will automatically send out but they put in very small writing that they will send back to the sender if u don't contact within 3 days.

Once I phoned the automated line I checked online later that evening and noticed the comments on it saying re-deliver for following day.
You could do two things, either wait and see if they deliver tomorrow and if not then use the number and rebook your delivery for the following day and make sure not to leave it 3 days otherwise no parcel for you or phone the line tonight and get it booked for delivery tomorrow

Well I just booked it in for delivery tomorrow using the website. Thanks for the help guys!
