When you look in device manager whats it say about the wireless adaptor? Does it give any clues as to who makes it or a model type? Often they are not made by the laptop manufacturer but by third parties for example mine is intel pro/wireless 3945ABG so drivers may be available from the manufacturer of the wireless adaptor instead.
