insurance companies do have boxes for you to tick if you do a pass plus, Im sure if you do a pass plus then you will have document to go with it (something like a Pass Plus letter)

Varies across cities. Bristol sponsors the scheme so they will pay half the cost, which my niece has been quoted £120, so saves her £60

you get the certificate from your driving instructor which you then have to send to the insurance company :)

You should get a certifacate from your pass pluss registered ADI, as for cost it depends on the instructor but a minimum of 6 hrs tuition at the rate they charge

pass plus is basically a few extra lessons (normally around 6) where you cover extra driving you wouldnt in your normal lessons e.g. moterways.

the instructer signs the certificate at the end when they think you've gotten to the passplus level

one problem
When I passed my driving test last year I did the pass plus
there are only a few insurance companies that accept it and give a discount
however those that gave the discount were dearer than the ones without EVEN WITH the pass plus
and I'm 22 and an accounts manager driving a diesel car!

Jesus £4,000, thats just stupid, the pass plus doesn't save you that money I would agree, but it is stupid the price insurers charge, what car was it for?
