Hi for the past couple of weeks i have had to cancel my driving test due to weather and other things coming up, i received a letter today saying that my last test had been canceled by DSA for someone reason. i have now logged in to change the date and it says this is the last time i can change the date of my test ( as you only change the date 3 times) im wondering if i completely cancel the test and make up a new appointment do i have another 3 opportunities to change the date?

thanks

because im looking for a better date.

Did they cancel it for weather? If not you should have just gone and done it.
I'd have thought if you cancel again you'll have to start again and pay again.

+ 1

Your never going to get a time and date that suits you perfectly...

If they cancelled one of the dates I would give them a call and ask questions.

True mate but problem is im looking at March for a appointment

It's a long time since I sat my test so I don't know how it's done these days, are you not able to indicate a time / date bracket?

I'd still be inclined to give them a call perhaps saying that the last appt suited you perfectly but that they cancelled it and now your not available until March and what can they do to help?
Got to be worth a shot....otherwise I guess if you cancel again you may end up paying again.

If you want a test in march then book one in march, If you booked 2 already thats down to you if you cant make them. Why book an appointment if you cant get to it. I would not like to be your doctor.

Hi
Yes you can ring and cancel and get a date you want, If they give you a date you cant do after they cancelled it, you definately have the chance to change it to a time and date that suits you........:):):)

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? MAYBE YOU SHOULD EXPLAIN THE TRUTH BEFORE YOU TALK CRAP.

BAD WEATHER? CAN YOU NOT DRIVE IN THE RAIN OR IS IT JUST THE SUN?

On a more serious note, If they cancelled it then surely that can not count as 1 of the 3. Thats just madness.

Lmaoo you need a doctor mr.keyboard gangster if you haven't noticed its been snowing for the past couple of weeks :)

To be honest I read it as you cancelled cause of weather. If it was them the call and get them to sort something. If they cancelled can't see why it should use your 3 lives up! Personally I'd just want the first one I could get and get it done and passed!

Can you not drive in the snow? I went to work 18 miles away everyday during the snow.

lostscot read the op and also thought you cancelled the tests. Maybe you should type what you mean to say and not aload of rubbish.

Anyway, not to worry about that now, Good luck with the test.

I think where the confussion is, is that u'v said ' I have had to cancel due to weather'...... If it was them then they can't count that in to the 3 for sure...phone up and complain. And surely, u should do a test whatever the weather anyway....for future reference:?

Its not about whether i can drive in the snow or not its the fact that DSA wont let people drive in the snow, thats common sense everyone knows that.

No they dont allow people to driving in heavy rain snow or any other type of bad weather.
#21
I would think so if its been cancelled through no fault of you're own but not 100% sure... :-)

Just ring them up and tell them you want your feb date back as they have cancelled enough times and find out the reason why they cancelled the feb one.
DSA WILL NOT let anyone drive in bad weather conditions.
Good luck hope you pass.

They certainly do conduct Driving Tests in heavy rain, but not snow, as it would be unfair as the candidate cannot see the road markings.
