Dropped my Samsung U600 (help)

Hi All,

Just been on lunch and dropped my Samsung U600 from pocket height.

I thought everything was fine until I made a call, the person on the other end of the phone can't hear me.

I have tried turning it off and all that sort of stuff, but sounds like I have nacked the speaker bit.

There is no marks on the phone and like I have said it was only dropped from about 3 ft.

Any ideas if I can fix this or am I in need of a new 1?

Whoops, think you'll need a new one.

It will be typical, because I just agreed to trade my old phone with tazandsaz last night.

I reckon it may just be the mic come loose, worth getting it looked at first me thinks.

That happened with my Sony Ericsson K810i...Ironicly I fixed it by dropping it again

Whats the worst that can happen, it doesn't turn on.

Might give this a go, if not I will get it looked at and see the damage both phone and money wise.

The phone still in waranty? If theres no marks on the phone just claim it did it itself, thats what I've done the odd time :whistling:

I thought they were pretty robust - I have dropped mine a few times - once even down the toilet and it still works perfectly!!

mine was useless, it was about three month old, screen started to go white randomly, then i couldnt call anyone......then my number 1 button broke.....threw it at a wall after a while....it made it work for about 3 weeks but it happened again......sent it away.....vodafone wouldnt do anything about it, i refused to pay my bill and now i owe alot of money......i hate vodafone

Not sure how phones work now but 6 years ago had a mobile that my friend threw against the wall when drunk and in a bad mood when I lent it to him after his was stolen.

what it is in that one was that a tiny spring inside the phone is touching a bit of metal on the motherboard then it gets sound.

Simpler than it sounds.
