Drugs in the Olympics

Did anyone see Michael Phelps beat the Swimming 400m WR by like 2 seconds, and the person from China who was 17, weighed 55.5kg and lifted 160kg for Gold.

I tell you know brahs, no one who is 55.5kg would be lifting that much unless there taking something such as performance enhancing drugs.

I don't think Phelps is on the drugs.........that's the new swimsuit. But i'm sure they'll be plenty that fall foul in the weightlifting and track and field.

unless you're an olympic athlete you cant really say that. Thats just an opinion lol.

good point there brah, wont be surprised at all if alot of track and field WR are broken this year, using undetectable drugs.
[mod]#7
I'll be amazed and highly suspicious if any long distance records are broken in the heat and humidity there.

But somebody said that you don't need drugs, just training:?

black gerbil1;2718964
I think if I had the amount of training of the rest I could have, I already have a great athletic ability anyway, im sure others like me who are good athletics with great work ethic could do the same too in that event.

well im 80kg and i never done clean and jerk but I think id be able to about 120kg, so I dont see how these guys who are 48kg doing 114kg. With weightlifting you need alot of rest otherwise your muscles will get injured, them people are juicing (using drugs)

but do u train day and night with a professional trainer solely for this sport?
its like me saying...im 28 but can run 100 m in like x seconds so how can someone run it in 9 secinds whatever...its down to training
#11
blackgerbil what did you take when you beat the 100 m world record? a man talking from experience i think. lol
#12
I prefer the 'Laugh'o'lympics' on cartoon network, i think it's a lot fairer.... go the scoobies!!!
#13
I guess you have evidence to back up your potentially libellous remarks?

although the watch did say 9.7 exact, it was not regulated correctly, I could have started before my friend used his stopcock, he could of pressed it before I finished the line, alot of variables brah.

training in weight lifting can only take you so far before you cant get any bigger stronger, there using performance chancing drugs.

yeah just watch the 56kg guy lift 114kg

PMSL........i'm sure the weightlifter reads this forum. And further to that.....how do you sue an anonymous person on the internet?

Firstly, nobody is anon on the internet. Secondly, I quite clearly did not mean it in the sense that he will be sued. However, the last thing I think anybody should do after somebody has done something quite amazing is to suddenly blame drugs. Of course there could be drugs involved, but no such statement is fair against anybody's amazing success without evidence.

Maybe you would have been better to use someone that had a clue and not a plumber.

*cough* what a load of nonsense *cough*

I think this, therefore this must mean they are on drugs.....? Twoddle!

They are athletes, it's what they train to do. whether you think they can or can't is irrelevant!

you understand Brah! (wtf is a brah?)

Depends where you connect from..........and if the sport wasn't so rife with drugs and cheats then there would be no doubt but history proves there are far too many people that cheat their way to victory.
#23
its funny how most people is saying "im wrong", im sure you lot were all the people who thought Dwayne chambers weren't taking nothing either when he was sprinting, either that or your just disagreeing with me because of who I am.

the thing with drugs is that everyone taking them, there just undetectable, when someone gets caught the move on to the next one. Cat and mouse.
[mod]#24
On another note...........the BBC saying that the judging was harsh on Tom Daley and his mate is funny.

Why can't they just say the other 7 were better and they didn't deserve to win? :o He's only 14.......give him another 4 years to practise rather than fill his head with thoughts he's been done.
[mod]#25
Oh...........and a Spanish Woman became the first athlete to fail a drugs test this morning.

But of course........they don't take drugs......do they? lol

true say there playa, but they have to play it in favour of the GB team.

1 women was already disqualified in the bike race for taking drugs that were banned.

I think you should quickly report your findings to the IOC, you clearly have spotted something they have missed.

Are actually from Jamaica or the west Indies somewhere?
[mod] 1 Like #28
I'm just doubtful of them all now. Even when they don't get caught.......you find them admitting it years later.

The sports tainted for me now. :-(

p.s - At least we know that Murray wasn't on drugs after losing so meekly. lol

Definately a few will fail drugs tests but you seem very agitated over drugs in sport lately, seems like youre battling with yourself over wether to take them.

Oh...recent threads have shown you to be 6ft 1" tall, weigh 80kg and have humongous 30 inch quads LMAO, you must either look completely ridiculous in your modelling photos or advertise tight topped super baggy legged catsuits, then again you might not be able to keep up with your own lies is another thought

I lol'd in real life at the bit on bold.

Yeah I agree again, has tainted them a bit, thats why i think my although far-fetched was a good idea to legalise drugs in sport.

Also gerbil being such an expert on weight lifting surely you know it's easier to lift 114kg 4 ft of the ground than it is to lift it 6ft off the ground?

And remember if these Chinese fail they get shot....i imagine.

brah, hes 56kg, im 80kg, being heavier I should lift more, besides the point anyway, no one does that much.

I'm expecting about 20-40 athletics getting caught this Olympics with some sort of illegal drug.
