get yourself a R4SDHC card, they cost about £15, then download the games, look here

then you need this

then just put the firmware on the memory card then download your games from here

hope this helps
my 4 yr old son likes disney cars
anything Mario related
My Little Girl Is 4 Years And Loves

+ I Did It Mum - There Is A Boy And Girl Version Very Easy Games
+ Dora Saves The Princess
+ Cooking Mama
+ The New Mario Bros - There Are Little Mini Games And She Plays These
+ Wonderpets - Think This Is Only Available In The Us

All Easy To Play And They Don't Need To Be Able To Read
yup you can get them all here, i think there is over a thousand on-line so far

For the girl .....Animal Crossings and Nintendogs
Mine loved these when she was younger
these are a fraction of the price for the R4 and dead simple to use, The saint has a set up guide on here somewhere, exactly the same as the R4, does exactly the same thing, but with the toptoy you can use upto 8gb sd card, play movies, music, and hubby just found out how to get the DS to play all other old console games liek the nintendo 64, mega drive, snes etc.
get the games from the same place that wickedteen mentioned , simple to do just download and drag and drop.
hope this helps

they dont seem to be uk based, might take while to get it
mine love anything mario and the "i did it mum" range
thanks for all your suggestions, plenty to go at.
build a bear

postman pat

i did it mum

are both good for pre readers. my four year old can manage these
Are they a reliable company? I know thesaint usually mentions dealextreme, but some of the feedback on there, mentions "fake" a lot. I'm wanting to get my kids one, but looking for the cheapest price of course, if i buy the one you have linked, do i also have to get the memory card?

it appears alot of people sake they are fake but in reallity they are all fake, but dont worry if you go for a R4SDHC or a DSTT, they are both as good and can use upto a 32gb micro sdhc card
