DS Lite Problems

Just wondering if anyone has had a problem with the nintendo ds lite battery?

We got 2 for christmas and mine is fine, but dads has turned itself off a few times and also if you close it it sometimes stays on (as it should) but other times turns off straight away.

We ordered it from game and have the invoice and packaging etc (mine was from HMV)

Just wondering what we should do and if other people are having the same problem

If it isn't working as expected, take it back.

Anyone know the best way of contacting game - and should I expect a replacement or just a repair

i assume there is a phone number on the receipt? just give them a call, or even if you have a store local, phone them, explain it was a gift, they will prob exchange it for you.

Well I would first phone up game and HMV to see if any of them have stock in then take it back to whoever does.

No phone number on invoice, but checked online and says just send it back with 'exchange' or 'refund' written on it using the freepost sticker.

Cant return it to HMV because they are different colours - good thought though

I charged mine on Christmas day & the battery's still going strong... I agree with Gavin here.. Phone up & see who has stock & swap it for a new one :)

if you had a hmv carrier bag i bet you could take it back to them without a receipt, you only want an exchange so they would probably swap them.

Oh you could buy a new one instore if you can then take the dodgy one back on the new one's receipt and get a refund...
