It's always interesting to read the previous posts when members come over all moralistic.

I wonder if a declaration was made, or was the money for the coffers avoided?

Please tell us, did you pay all the relevant taxes, duties, V.A.T on the Ds lite you imported?

At the U.S equivalent of £80, I would be surprised if you saved any money on the U.K price of £100.

Seems he's not interested in answering questions thesaint, just causing trouble. Hence my earlier question - the two are very alike, and I suspect they are one and the same person. He hasn't denied it yet ... :whistling:

Its a pity that you seem to regard basic honesty as "moralistic" but I guess that's the kind of skewed thinking that's prevalent these days. And since you asked, yes I did ask customs when I arrived if I should declare the DS, and the iPod, and the other things I bought, and they said they weren't interested in anything less than a couple of hundred quid as it was too much hassle.

Have a nice day :p

Excuse me for "causing trouble" by suggesting some honesty might be appropriate; I didn't realize that sort of thing was unacceptable around here.

Whoever he is he'd be lucky to have the same dog as me since I've had him since 2004

Do you not have anything better to do? Every single thread on here contains some smarmy comment from the likes of you. I hardly post on here anymore cos I'm sick of people like you doing your best t get one over! Give it a rest, it's very immature!

And, just for your information, I used to have a great job at a games software company in Dundee; but my job, and that of many others, went down the river last year largely because of software piracy. Ever tried running a business where 100 of your products get stolen for every one you sell? No, I didn't think so or you might think theft is not such a good idea after all.

Still, I don't suppose you regard stealing DS ROMs as theft, do you? Its not like there's a victim. Just some nameless, rich b******* that drives a Merc and runs a huge evil empire that exploits your basic needs by asking you to pay for the games you want.

I hope somebody burgles your house and steals all your good stuff and the judge lets him off scott-free 'cos he thinks its quite reasonable for the guy to want your stuff for nothing and just go and take it.

Have a VERY nice day

Not paying Taxes/duties is stealing from the whole country, if you feel so strongly about people paying for what they owe, you should've insisted that you paid your dues, and reported the officer that told you that.

The country needs it more than a software company.

Seems you know as much about economics as you do about customs and excise and honesty. i.e. Not much.

That ignore function look like just what I need!

Ah; marvelous, you have disappeared with your innane anti-honesty drivel.

That's a nice thing to wish for. Not 'skewed thinking' by any chance?

You're worse than the other bloke, you don't understand honesty, or irony :-D

My ignore list has just increased by 100% - thanks

Enjoy your life of petty point-scoring.

(A) I've heard of them, but I keep getting them mixed up. They are both taught in Maths, right?

(B) You're welcome! Although you obviously won't see this, so not much point in writing it...

(C) Will do - I'm currently at 3,078!
