Fingers burnt - are the DSG groups at it again, although I really did not know how bad they were until recent problems. Will avoid any of this group in future.

Can we have a voting system on suppliers - how bad they are at supplying what they promise???
Ordered it on 2 Jan. Got 4 e mails confirming the order and despatch.

Supposed to arrive within 5 working days. Rang today, told "somebody forgot to put the despatch sticker on it" - probably take another week...So I cancelled it.

Has anybody recieved thiers yet. Looking on this site, seems Currys make a habit of this -offering goods, too good to be true and not fulfilling the order. Cannot find it now but see famous 100 page thread - re £1 TV (help, cannot find ithe link).

Part of same group Dixons / PC World = DSG group so I won't hold out much hope of customer services response!! Have e mailed and faxed the management team etc - just in case...

This has been mentioned before, but we really don't have the facilites for it here. There are websites completely dedicated to this, such as Ciao customer reviews.

I got my Pure Tempus through this deal really quickly.

Had a slight amount of damage to the front of the wood but not significant. Really nice sound and very easy to use.

After the first couple of mornings noticed that when I turned the sound down fully I could still hear the radio. Next morning the radio was louder, by the fourth morning the music was really loud with the volume turned to minimum. On the fifth morning the music had me leaping out of be as it was so loud.

I phoned Pure Cust Serv who said it was a faulty unit and to return it to Currys. This is where the fun begins.

The aftersales 0870 number took me through about 7 menu option at least one of which was a repeat of an earlier one. When I finally got to the final menu I got a meesage to say there had been an unexpected error and I could not been connected. This happened on three occasions.

The cynic in me suspects that the lengthy menus and lack of connection are just another earner!

I went back to the web site and clicked the link to send an email to [email protected] only to find that the email address that had gone into the To box was to [email protected]

I have sent an email to both but heard nothing at all.

Type Currys or Dixons in here for a cheaper alternative to the 0870 number:-

After all my problems, now got radio and credit voucher:whistling: AND apology from DSG group.

There is a DSG customer service e mail, (well buried). Similarly contacts for the managment board. I need to take advice on whether HDUK can show this info.
