My dad is after a new telly. Probably going to go for the LGPQ6000 which is £514.99 at Dixons.

However, he is pretty old-fashioned and doesn't trust online stores.

Does anyone know if Currys will price match Dixons, as they have it but for £650.

Or as they are the same group, do they insist that you order online?

Thanks

Nope, they previously told me they don't pricematch themselves...which I think is stupid. :x

I think if you want them to price match it would have to be online, but having said that, print off the Dixons page and take it in to the store and see what they say ??

You should give John Lewis a call, they might be able to price match it if they sell this model.

They took £400 off a tv for me a couple years ago, price matched with a Sony dealer in Glasgow.

Yep, John Lewis would be a great option, as they'd pricematch any store price in the country (won't pricematch Dixons online though) but you can also negotiate with stores and get them to pricematch it.

I don't know if they still do this but they used to also offer an additional 5 year warranty for free of charge as well.

The T&C on the website suggests NO.

However your best bet is to go and ask....

http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/editorial/Price%20Promise

"Who does the Currys price promise apply against?

The Currys price match promise applies to the lowest price offered by these retailers with the online pricematch applying to all online purchases and the instore price match applying to products stocked in a local retail store."

Argos Comet Tesco John Lewis
