DSi XL From Game?

I bought a DSi XL from my local Game store today.

The box wasn't sealed though and the screen needed a clean as it was quite dirty.

I've been playing with it tonight and it all works fine.

I was wondering if I should take it back and exchange it for a sealed one or do they come without a seal on the box?

And could the screen just have dirt from when it was boxed at the Nintendo factory? There was no plastic cover on the screen either like you usually get with a new mobile or PSP.

Just curious for some advice, thanks.

Sounds like a returned or 2nd hand console. Take it back and loudly complain.

There are no covers on the screen, well my DS and DSi never had covers, but the box's were sealed tho

No seal means returned
I'd just ask for a swap and comment on their history of selling used games new

This happened to me once before, i brought a psp and i found out it was refurbished :(
i think if you go there and explain to them what has happened, the may be able to offer you a sealed one, as it has nothing to do with you

I hate buying "BRAND NEW" games from there and they get a case of the display shelf and get the booklet and disc out of a drawer then put a "GAME Seal" sticker to seal the case shut.

Just back form game. They changed it over but again it's not sealed.

He said the DSi XL doesn't come sealed any more. I made him check all the ones they had and true to his word known were sealed. Even on the boxes there's no mark were a seal could have been.

So I got a new one any way

And also cancelled the Game care. No idea why I took it in the first place. I never took it with any of my other consoles.

So I'm happy :)

Just tried the Acekard 2i with some Mario Kart DS, it's well good! :)

You can return them without any fuss now, apparently...

GAME sells ex-display stock as 'new' - Will refund or replace any non-'mint' goods bought at Easter
