Just a quick question on the DSTT...

Is there any way to go back to the main DSTT menu without turning off / on the DS?

Thanks!

PS: If you dont know what a DSTT is move on...

this any help to you

from a quick google search

While the "Soft Reset" function is on, pressing "L+R+A+B+X+Y" can go back to the DSTT menu, Please do not do this while saving, as it will lead to malfunction, It is recommended to go back to main menu before you function the "Soft Reset".
If the error occurs on running games, please try to turn off the "Soft Reset"

Involvement: General (knows how to use it) - Ownership: more than 1 month

Pros: cost
ease of use once installed software
holds approx 30 ds games

Cons: have to download software, this only a rob if don't know how to do it or where to look
if place games on root then it crahses, to resolve this create folder and put games in this
Have to set the softkeys in each game to be able to return to the main menu with out turning the ds off and on again

Other Thoughts: I have used the R4 and this and prefer the menu for this one

Bottomline: for the price this is an excellent product, I have recently ordered 2 more

right just done it, when your on the dstt main screen in the top left of the touch screen tap the sysoption tab, then there is a Default Reset drop down menu, turn this to on then when your in your game you can hold down L+R+X+Y+A+B.

and that will reset you back to dstt menu

Have you sussed it out now? Mine has worked this morning when I tried it. One word of warning though, when playing a fighting game dont get carried away like I did...I pressed all the buttons and lost my whole game and ended up back at the menu :x :x

Ain't it quicker (and safer) then to just turn it off then on again - like before?

It's the same thing I think and it saves a bit of time and battery.

They recommend using the soft reset all the time...if you continually switch on/off then the card can freeze and data can become corrupted so you would have to re-format the memory card and re-load all the games....(its is a continual ball ache with my 4 yr old-she wont be told)
