Hi all,

Just wondering would it feel/be odd to have a dual monitor display with the displays from different manufacturers and different features;

The one I have;
Samsung 2233BW 22" TFT display

One I am thinking of getting;
Benq G2222HDL 21.5" LED Monitor

Bit worried I may hate the setup! Have a graphics card with two DVI outputs and Intel e7500 CPU with 4GB RAM.

Why would it feel odd, your display would just carry on over to the other monitor. Only difference is the look of the two monitors

Not odd at all i'm using 2 completely different monitors right now, one 17" & the other 19".

Use two monitors at work. One for my emails, other for the rest.

Really doesnt matter about spec or anything tbh.

Its fine for working or general web etc etc..

If gaming, you cant beat a nice bank of the same monitors with a nice slim edge!

I used to use a 15" Macbook Pro alongside a 24" monitor with no problems!

OP I used 3 Samsung 226BW's & in truth it gives you a sore head in gaming & I soon went back to 1 Monitor.

Exactly as everyone else says - different sizes / types won't make much difference for general office work etc. But if you're using them for gaming different sizes / resolutions might be weird.

Will the diff resolutions matter? The new one has a max of 1920 x 1080 and the old Samsung I have has: 1680 x 1050?
