Dublin Public Transport question

Hey guys,

A week on Saturday, I'm flying to and from Dublin in the same day. I'm just wondering, what's the best/cheapest/quickest way of getting from Dublin City airport to the centre of Dublin, how much are they, and how long do they take?

Thanks in advance :)

You can use a 1 Day Rambler which allows you to use all bus service for 6 euros, I think if you get bus 747 from directly outside the airport terminal that will take you direct to O'Connell Street, from there you can transfer buses to exactly where you need to go! Its pretty simple, you can buy the rambler ticket on the bus or from a machine at the airport, then you just scan it as you hope on. See here for bus timetables from airports http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Your-Journey1/Timetables/Airport-Services/

It says 6 euro's but still best to buy a rambler ticket for same price as it includes all other buses to.

747 is the quickest route

we bought this before we went, as it is free delivery if you order online, free delivery also applies to the rambler ticket. We bought this freedom ticket as it included the hop on hop off tour buses. There are a few different companies offering the hop on hop off tour buses but the Dublin bus ones are the best as they're run by the government.
