Basically I'm looking for a guide for computer parts etc.

If anyone knows a guide on the internet, or knows where a book is availible... I'll be gratefull.

It would be a big bonus if you could tell me yourself, lol.

Regards.

There guides didn't actually tell me what they are, I need to start from the basic explanations first lol X)

Its such a big and ever changing topic that I don't think one set of 'guides' ever really covers all you would want to know - but there are loads of tech\hardware sites with useful articles. Is there anything in particular you want to know? Are you planning to build a system?

For definitions and basic overviews, Wikipedia is always a good place to start looking...

Hint: you should know this before you volunteer to repair someone's laptop.

Hint 2: If you're going to tell someone in another thread to ask google, well, y'know. Glass houses, etc.
