I can burn onto it, and it might play on my ps3 but it wont play on my dvd player. The player is a recordable dvd player but i cant understand why i cant play recordable dvds on it.

Is there a specific type/brand i need to do this?

Hi

Your discs made not be compatible with the DVD recorder.

Do you have the manual for the DVD recorder?

Just check to see if it plays DVD+R?

Put the make and model of DVD recorder up on here.

I was just about to say the same.
A lot of DVD players (especaly older ones) can only play/record 1 type of DVD.

At a guess I would say this only plays DVD-R.

The only other thing's are:

Are the files DVD Authored?
Is the disc finalised?
