Just get her to refund the payment through her Paypal and then send her the money to her Paypal addy instead.

It's the same as a cheque but an electronic one.

So.................

You have a bank a/c attached to your paypal a/c

You make a purchase and do not have the required funds sitting in your paypal a/c

Paypal will request the funds from your bank a/c (known as an e-cheque)

E-cheques take time to 'clear' and are able to 'bounce', as with a paper cheque

well i gathered that much -lol (should have asked how does it work not what it is) I meant how does it work, if you have money in your account or you have a debit/credit card on your account why do they send it as an e-cheque

Three different Q's there sassie

1/ if you have money in your account
Paypal will always use the money in your a/c before any other method

2/ or you have a debit/credit card on your account why do they send it as an e-cheque
If you choose bank funding (debit card), it will be issued as an e-cheque

3/ or you have a debit/credit card on your account why do they send it as an e-cheque
If you choose credit card it will be paid from your credit card.

Instant payment would mean that you were either using existing paypal funds or your credit card.

If your payments are now all by e-cheque it is because you do not have a balance in your paypal a/c and your setting have changed so that your bank a/c is now used primarily to your credit card.

If you want it as it used to be you need to adjust your settings within paypal.
