You need Mobile Partner software that will allow you to set up connections for any network SIM.

Has it been unlocked?

If it's an O2 dongle it will be locked to the O2 network. You need to unlock it first.

Is there any step by step tutorials out there?

1. To unlock it or check if it needs unlocking or not
And
2. To set the 3 sim up

Because so far its pretty confusing with no answers on google

If it is an O2 dongle then it is pretty much locked to O2. To get it working on all networks you'll have to get it unlocked. PM me if u need to know how and I'll see if I can get you the info for unlocking it.
