hi

I am thinking of buying a phone from e2save.com. It's a 18 months contract with t-mobile. 16 months free after cashback!

I need to know a few things:

1. Are e2save.com doing well? I don't want them going bust and me getting no cashback!
2. Is it easy to cancel the phone insurance and the 'Gadget helpline'?
3. What have been your recent experiences with e2save?

I have done cashbacks before so know the basics, like choosing special delivery. And sending bill asap.

Anything you want to add? Thanks

I like e2save - despite all of their flaws! Especially as they have the backing of CWH, so can't really see them going out of business unless CWH do.

The first time I did a cash back with them it worked reasonably well - although they changed the address you send claims to without telling anyone.

I'm now on my second cashback deal and twice they seem to have lost the paperwork, but having resent it I actually got paid twice as they obviously did have the original claim. So I'm ahead on the deal at the moment!

Cancelling the phone insurance and gadget helpline was also very easy - you just need to make sure that you do it well in time. I left it close to the cut off date for Gadget line an dthey'd already initaited the direct debit, but they didn't put up a fight about refunding it as I was within the allocated cancellation time.

So, I guess in a way that e2save are a bit like Ryan Air - they're great value IF you do exactly what they say!

Anyway, hope that helps.

I'm still in school lol

Considering your supposed to file your accounts with company house annually, shouldn't the data have been updated? :p

back records are probably kept for many years and if they went bust then there would be no update....

From what I have read, some companies (like e2save.com) were liquidated and re-incorperated a couple of years ago in order to aid restructuring of the Carphone Warehouse Group. So I don't think there's really anything to worry about...
