Right, I am a bit annoyed by this at the moment.

Ordered a Samsung E900 over the weekend with E2save, everything went smoothly - got emails etc.

Today, I emailed then asking whether the phone was in stock since it wasnt despatched yesterday and when to expect it. Couple of hours later I find myself declined by o2!

Got on the phone to them - being a bit shocked I asked why I had been declined despite having a o2 contract already and paying all my bills. But it seems that all she was interested in was whether I wanted to switch to a different network and try that instead. The o2 deal was the best of the bunch with 8 months free (thanks Ducky) and the other networks really didnt have good deals.

The thing that also worried me was that CPW being the parent company - doesnt have stock of the e900 currently and how that stock suddenly popped into the warehouse right after i enquired about my order worried me too!

I mean was E2save trying to meet targets with ordering and despatch times or was a simply a too good of a deal to be offered to me? lol

I m probably ranting over nothing - just that I ve always be ok with credit checking stuff... :(

Hi Mowbli,

The same thing happend to me as well, I have a O2 contract at the moment, and always pay ontime. I got declined by o2 when I try to order a brand new handset from E2save/onestopphoneshop!!!! I always be ok with my credit check, with orange, voda... etc.

I went to get my credit report, which seems fine, I tried to apply again after 2 months, DECLINED again!!!! I have no idea why? The only thing I can think of it's to try to order from O2!

Welcome to HUKD bluepolobabe!!

There is a limit to the number of contract phones you can have with each retailer at any one time. If you ordered just 2 months ago then you'd have to wait another month before you can get another o2 contract.

I hope this table explains it a bit!!

Nice chart Ducky - where did you get it?

So technically you are only allowed 2 contracts in TOTAL if you want a contract with o2?

@bluepolobabe, I was a little worried before you wrote your post! thanks :)

So it seems... unless you have someone else in the family who can take the delivery for you, but I'm not sure how you'd go about that.

The chart is from the e2save FAQ section. It's noteasy to find... you have to search for "maximum connections" in the help centre.

It's a real shame to only be able to have 2 with o2... now I ll not be able to take advantage of many 12 months free contract offers :( until January at least :(

A bit weird, I mean my credit improved so dramatically over the course of this week lol :p or is it because they gambled to put me on a more expensive network and failed lol... :p
