e2save messed up my SIM only pay monthly order - sent a PAYG SIM

Ok folks, I had heard quite a lot of bad things about e2save and don't know why I went ahead and placed an order through them.

I ordered a "Virgin Mobile Liberty SIM On Virgin Mobile - £10 per month - pay monthly 30 day contract" from e2save. The same deal was available elsewhere (direct from virgin mobile as well) - but e2save were offering £15 Quidco, so thought it will work out half-price for three months and went for it.

But e2save being e2save, CANNOT even do a simple thing correct. The SIM card arrived next day through DHL (very efficient) - but there was only a plastic case (similar to a CD case) containing the SIM, a booklet and a leaflet.

Now when I called virgin mobile customer services on 789 to set up the SIM, I was amazed to know that e2save have indeed sent me a PAYG SIM with a £5 balance on it.

The Virgin mobile CS have no record of any SIM only contract in my name and said that they could set it up know. I have told them that I will talk to e2save first and figure out what has happened.

However, it is very difficult to reach e2save CS (almost impossible) so I gave up after being on phone for 10 mins.

What should I do now?

I have not paid any amount yet....but gave e2save my bank and card details on the order page. What I have is PAYG SIM with £5 credit and Quidco has tracked at £15.

I don't want to deal with these e2save morons and have a feeling that if I just keep quite now, I can keep the SIM and will possibly get Quidco as the web order was full-filled.

I will however have to keep my eyes on my bank account, in case virgin mobile try to set up a direct debit (for the PAYG number).

Its bloody height of incompetence.

Interestingly, the booklet which comes with the SIM says pay monthly, but the leaflet on which SIM card was stuck says £5 of airtime.

non-sense.

Hello Sarah

Are you any e2save customer rep?

If yes, then how can I make sure that you are from e2save?

Let me know either by a PM or a reply on this thread.

Thanks
