Don't you need kinect for this on the 360? Why not use the money for a gym?

i have kinect but not EA Active im gunna wait for a price drop abit.

my impressions of kinect are very good. kinect sports is a ton of fun havent tried dance central yet but thats meant to be the best kinect game.

i would personally go for kinect as wii is getting on abit now plus the kinect technology is far superior and you dont need extra controllers etc.

Haven't got this, but have got 3 other games and they are all pretty good fun. Dance Central, Sports and Adventures. From these games I reckon EA would be gimmicky but good never the less.

I have used it, so far pretty good, but never used any fitness program on other consoles.
Also have Fitness Evolved. Which is best seems to be some debate. I like the EA one, the Mrs likes fitness evolved. I'm no expert on these, but check this thread for plenty of info including people comparing the two:

Oh, and as for the Kinect itself, great device. Works better than I thought it would, fitness games very well suited to it.
Best game so far I would say is Kinect Sports, and that can give a good workout!

Motion Sports is also good & I'm currently training on Fighters Uncaged which is also very responsive ! Kinect Sports is a great all rounder though - kind of like an updated Track & Field.

Looking for a fitness one for the misses myself, so I'll keep an eye on this thread
