wow, I'm not buying any more EA games, unless it's battlefield 3 (not bad company).

Good little list but nothing you wouldn't expect in there.

Okay, so most of these are dead but I personally think they should be giving longer on Tiger Woods 09 and FIFA 09. Given that you now have to pay for your online component, I'd hope they don't do this with FIFA 10 next year.

2010 FIFA World Cup™ Demo for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

Phew, I though that was the full version for a moment.

Best football game ever.

They should be force into emailing all registered with EA a 30 days notice of all games they are planning on shutting down and M$ should stop EA incorporating online achievements into any of their games . I hope someone with some patience decides to take EA to task over the online element since online passes have to be bought for the 2nd hand market (copy) and are price reflected. Therefore in a new purchase(where the game server is off and included unused pass ) they should refund the cost of a marketplace purchase to acquire the online pass if you cannot use it in a new copy either.

It's EA, they don't care about anything but money, not sure why people still believe otherwise.

Totally agree and I actually think that their online pass system that they have started to employ is backfiring on them. I think it is bringing the second hand prices down, due to lack of pass, which in turn bring the new price down, as some people don't want to play online or can't understand the price difference.

I disagree. Some people may have bought fifa09 new as the latest release as little as 16 months ago.

Server support for this short a period is disgusting

No more EA games for me either out of principle.

they made it impossible to get all the trophies 9 months ish after it came out.
I think they should state on the box how long online stays open for minimum

I am surprised MS allow EA to do this considering I am PAYING MS to have the ability to play my games online. As someone above said.... my next EA game will be BF3 and thats it. This is why I like to know I can always grab an ISO when the whim takes me..... like it is now

EA have m$ by the testicles and have done since M$ tried to lay down the law regarding servers at the off. EA basically said excuse me M$ no fn way we'll make sure not to publish on your platform if your force our hand to use your servers.

Publishers get annoyed that they don't see any of the money from Xbox Live, as they see it, they're responsible for why people sign up to Live. Activision in particular, that's why sometimes they're a bit reluctant to fix things in games. They think "Why should I fix this? They've already paid their money." I believe I read about Activision looking at trying to get games like Guitar Hero to work independently, with no need for a console.

tl;dr Publishers are greedy. It doesn't matter you'll buy Assassins Creed 45: Modern Ops anyway.
