Easter Egg hunt - Just a bit of chat

Hi, It's the last day of school today. I have 6 children returning back early, as the schools kick out early on last day of term.

So I'm doing an Easter Egg hunt!

I can envisage some sick children later if I put out too much chocolate - so I've helped by eating some already! Oops.

Seriously though it's a clue hunt, and they will win a kinder egg, a squirting ring and a packet of Match attacks each.

I don't know who is more excited me at preparing it - or them knowing they have a hunt to do!

LOL.

Anyone else got anything planned for Easter?

Aah Is your baby a girl? When my little girl was 12 months she had just had her first taste of chocolate (We took a bit hanging from the christmas tree)! She went so mad for it, that she pulled the tree down on her in a desperate attempt to get more.

That sounds great fun...wish I was at your house this afternoon!

I have 2 young boys and we usually do an egg hunt on easter morning for them, but they're usually shivering in there dressing gowns hunting for them and I invariably forget where i've hidden them all!

Happy Easter :-)

Sunday 12th April 2009

It's actually in 2 sundays time, but the school kicks out today - and I won't see most of these children until we go back to school.

I do a hunt every year for them, so they'd be upset if I didn't now!

Yeap it certainly does.

Though I do try to use the local magazines, and find out when the council are putting on events locally. They can be good fun.

Also I am lucky to live near enough to London to make use of the free entry into museums.

I often 4x my Tesco CLubcard vouchers for days out vouchers. That helps alot in the summer holidays.

Is he having a party Sassie? I've told my DS no more parties now - he can have a few friends over for a sleep over, or go to the cinema but I think they have grown out of party games now.

Haha - nice! My daughter does this on a daily basis - she loves making picnics or birthday parties. If someone hasn't got a birthday then one of her soft toys does!

The kids are soooo lovely when they are young. :-D

Sounds like fun Butterflies :). We do an egg hunt on Easter morning - but always end up finding them for weeks afterwards, as I never remember where i've put them. I'm really looking forward to this holiday tbh, and the kids could do with the break too. My 3 have really struggled getting up in the mornings for the past week or 2, despite early nights etc..Haven't a clue what were going do yet, hopefully a couple of days out - but alot of it depends on the weather . the youngest 2 have been nagging me to go camping :w00t: no chance at this time of year. Happy Easter everyone :). x
