I'm not quite understanding what you are trying to say here. How exactly would I get one over on them? :?

1. I was messing, emoticons dont work well on this site at the moment so I omitted the sticky out tounge one.

2. I'm sure liddle and possibly the other poster knew what the OP was saying and were just joking. The OP is a little confusing but not exactly impossible to read.

Are there two idiots in this villiage by any chance?

Sorry yes even better, originally £80 for all the tickets.

As I said it's not the most elegantly written text but the idea should be apparent on first pass

Nope. I have absolutely no idea what he meant. Easyjet advertise their prices along with taxes so where does he get the approximate costs from in the first place...? It doesn't make sense, period.

Can confirm I definitely wasn't joking. I don't really understand what the op is trying to say. I've just gone and checked Easyjet flights from Newcastle to Barcelona in mid November. They are :
Our Low Airfare (per adult or child) £21.91 (per person)
Third-party airport operator charges & government taxes (per adult or child) £19.00 per person
Total baggage charge (I allowed 1 suitcase between 2 adults) £16.00

Total amount due : (2 adults) £97.82.

The flights are Saturday 14 Novmber to Wednesday 18 November.

Now, I'll say again, I don't understand how the op is proposing that we "get one over on Easyjet".
I think he may be complaining about the third party charges and government taxes, which are unavoidable.

I think it's quite simple that the OP has got mixed up over the breakdown of the airfare on EZY's site.

The bit I have highlighted is indeed around £21, but this is only one part of the fare breakdown and thus the whole fare is correct at £81.82 for the two passengers. There is no glitch.

At last, someone who makes sense, rather than someone who makes nonsense - or worse, someone who imposes false sense on nonsense :-D

easyJet are great imo. Good service and without the crudity and in-your-face sales techniques of Ryanair. Have used them at least a couple of dozen times and not had a single complaint.

 thanks i thought they must be bad or something certainly doesnt make me a snob cause i aint been on one though, im far far far from being a snob lol

The inflight service is fine. They're better than Ryanair by far having flown with them on a few internal sectors and LGW-NCE, but are more expensive (obviously they do not offer 1p fares so they will be more). Yes you do get the 'scrummers' who think it a military assault to get to the aircraft due to the lack of unassigned seating. Not a whole lot different to TCX given they themselves charge for almost everything now.

Some nice shiny new 320's being delivered at the moment as well, the ex BA 321's off to Monarch or whoever and the ex BA 320's seemingly a few going to Italy.

Getting on the plane can be a bit of a nightmare. Easyjet don't allocate seats, so when they open the gates it is a bit of a scrum. When the four of us (me, hubby, two young children) fly together we never get to sit beside each other. Last time we were 2 at the back of the plane and 2 around the middle. Once on the plane, everything else is fine. :)

Well am I a tosser?? Or a late APRIL FOOLER????
My wife normaly does the bookings and what did I not read correctly????
The bit under the price that states that taxes are included.
I thought it was acock up and if people got in quick they might get a cheap flight before it was taken off.
What kind of fool am I???
ANY WAY it woke a few sleeping bodies up and I hope its given Easyjet some business by showing how cheap they realy can be compared to the others.
AND I must say that on the very many occasions My family have travelled with Easyjet we have NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR THEIR STAFF.
So stick that in your pie and smoke it all you whingers.

HE HE HE !!!!!
