Item number: 160230039645

I bought these phones for recycling for tesco points. I wasn't expecting great phones but the listing suggests they power up. none of these phones switch on. i have asked for a refund but the seller says they worked when he tested them a month ago (doubt it) and he doesn't accept returns.
Should i just put it down to experience or should I take it further with ebay/paypal etc. Never disputed anything on Ebay before.

Thanks for any replies.

ebay listing numbers at hand so we can view the items descriptions ?

Take it further..... item not as described, paypal always side with the buyer (usually far too easily) you'll no doubt get a refund.

Where does it say they power up? The seller just gives an example of the type of fault to be expected imho. Have you tried charging them?

You are bidding on a collection of 5 mobile phones. All of them have minor faults like one of the buttons don't work or the sound is crackly, so this is a spares and repair sale. Thanks for looking.
OPEN A DISPUTE HE IS REALLY TAKING THE P*** IF NONE OF THEM WORK.

will have to agree with the tiger on this 1. dispute the smeg out of it as its sold in a condition thats different to whats stated!! o and good morning =)

No point taking it further since you were aware that you were buying these as spares/repairs. You have to accept risks for buying a whole lot of mobiles cheap. Don't know if you can get the money back from pp if u do take this further though. I would just leave it.

He's got 100% +ive feedback so he'll probably agree to refund. But, in all honesty, what do you expect from 5 ancient mobiles costing £15?

I agree, he should put in a paypal claim as he has nothing to lose (apart from return postage). It's unlikely to succeed though but you never know. The listing doesn't even say they come with batteries for example.... Mind you.....

Mobile Phone Collection. 5 top brands.

I only see Ericsson and Nokia, so that makes 2

I have previously won a claim despite it saying no returns. eBay does support you if the items are not as described.

Thanks for the comments, I have suggested to him I will leave unfavourable feedback but that didn't budge him. Might just resell them, but will be honest and change the description.
On another note, what price do you think I should pay for 5 working mobiles, I can convert these into 2500 (£100) Tesco deals?

Opened a dispute today, he has refunded me within a couple of hours.
