Ebay advice

I bought an item on Ebay two days ago, apart from automated email I have had no other contact from seller. Now when I log into my account on the item description it says "seller no longer registered" also a search on the item number returns "This listing has been removed, or this item is not available"
Not too worried as only a cheap item (£2.76)...but just a little curious

Obviously a dodgy seller thats been removed.

Ebay could have removed the listing for a number of reasons - but the fact they are "No Longer Registered" would cause for concern. Might be best to file an Item Not Received with paypal if it doesn't turn up within the week or even now if you're worried about it.

Have you paid? Then make a claim.
If not, a narrow escape, even if it is a small amount of money involved.

Happened to me a few times, item always showed up tho.

Is it possible to claim so early, what would be my reason for claiming?

Can`t understand why the item number is no longer available to view.

Possibly falsely claiming to be in uk? Item selling was fake? Prohibited?

No point yet, they'll just say they may have posted it before they were removed. It's only £3, wait a week or so.

Was a Wii nunchuck, item wasn`t described as genuine, didn`t see anything wrong with description.
(item was from china)

When a user goes "Unregistered" I believe you can file a dispute straight away as ebay don't expect you to complete the transaction as the user has been removed from the site - also if ebay did it shortly after your item finished the seller might not even have your details to send anything to you.

if the payment has been sent, they wil have received it and will have details to send item. i bet they send it.
Check your paypal payment for their email address and contact them, see what they say.

Good grief! I just got this reply in less than 3 minutes....

Your items were ALL sent out by 8th January but we will close the
store in eBay as we thought the eBay fee is too high. No worry please,
all the after-sales-work will continue for about half a year.
Thank you for your order from us.

Since it is cross continental shipment, and considering the coming
Christmas day, the post offices are all full of workload, it will take
about 2 to 3 weeks to Australia and it will take about 3 to 4 weeks to
US and European country. It depends on the customs inspection of your
country and the efficiency of the post office. We hope you will
understand and wait patiently.

Please do not open any dispute in paypal as it will bring much trouble
and time for both of you and us to deal with. Please close the
dispute if you already opened it as you will receive it sooner or
later.

Any query, please feel free to contact us via email:

We will reply to you as soon as possible. By the way, our ebay account
is suspended due to not having paid for ebay fee on time, it will be
brought back to normal in 3 weeks, so please do not send message via
eBay, just email us please.

Please don't worry about that, everything is under control, please
trust us, we are serious ebay seller.

Thanks in advance for your understanding on this case.

Best Regards,

I think then that a lot of people have contacted them and they are copying + pasting that to all people asking questions. I dont think from my own view that its possible to right that amount in under 3 minutes.
