I have just came back from seaton Carew beach where the famous John Darwin left on his canoe . I collected half a bucket of sand and some stones off the beach.. You reson someone willl buy this on ebay.

Serious thread (ish) (as in I have really collected the above ......mad but true)

You are indeed correct, money is spent on pumping sand from farther out at sea onto beaches to try and slow down the effects of coastal erosion:thumbsup:

I've beeen back and chucked it in the sea ........try an find my fingerprints on it gov .........
