if you get any problems ,mate just offer a full refund, then will be ok

Or you end the listing reason for ending is error in listing, take note of of any bidders if you like and could always send them an email explaining the error and tlel them its going be relisted.
You then relist over and if its sold, you listing fee is refunded.
Say this listing ends, the buyer just pays and expects you to send it all ok,and they not really into coming online daily and then the tv arrives and its used, then its going cost you to have it sent back, thats presuming you arranging for it to be delivered.
Best end and relist.

I'd do that and email the two highest bidders.

I personally would end the aucion then relist, it saves the hassle at the end of the action people saying you listed as new. Theres also a 10p listing day this week, not sure about categories and all that but thought ide mention it

Exactly what I would do - and also email the bidders to let them know and the item number for the relisting. Definately dont let it run as it stands - you would be asking for trouble - even if you did make an edit. The listing still shows in the "highlights at the top" new. Dont risk the trouble it can bring.

I suppose if they coming to collect it,then if they don't want it for whatever reason then its no big deal and you can relist again really, just you cna update a listing to say sorry mistake used and they may not come back to the listing to check again, and you go messaging them and not everone comes online daily etc

lol no,but if they lived close its not really big deal.

anyway I hope you sell it.

I tried selling my tv on eBay at the beginning of the yr,it cost almost £700 back in 2000 and I actually even scanned the receipt to the listing from Dixons.
I did collection only and started it at £50,had loads of watchers, but no1 ever bid, luckily my Mum managed to get my Dad a lift over to my town with a neighbour across the road and she give us £50 instead.

you should not be offering paypal as a payment method when your item is collected buyer can pick up get home and claim item not received done many many times on ebay, with large items including cars, tvs, even caravan

i hope op sees this
