sold a pair of skate shoes on ebay-didnt realise they were ladies though-didnt even there were such a thing-yeer tryed to be helpfull as possible sorting it-refunded in full and was polite-yeer the ebay user left good feedback but earlier today changed it to negative when they know this was a genuine mistake
should i leave negative feedback?-this is my first negative
any advise would be great

Well if you sold them and gave a pic and size it his fault he bought them. Yes nothing you can do now apart from name and shame to save one of us guys from dealing with them

ive got almost 900 feedbacks and 3 negative from buyers who didnt even contact me with there problem before leaving a negative. You will get these ppl out to ruin your rep just take it on the chin

Thats not entirely true.

few things you can do is.....

1. If what the buyer said in the neg comment you feel makes you a 'less trustworthy person' then you can do a defamatory claim which if ebay accept will remove there comments but leave the neg remaining.

2. You can file a feedback revision form which lets the buyer revise what they have written. (obviously i suggest you contact the buyer and im sure you can come to an agreement, ie... refund the buyer any postage costs they incur while returning the item..ect)

3. You can do a follow up comment on the neg they left explaining your side of the story.

Hope thats helped. Otherwise really you sent off ladies shoes which were not advertised correctly. Buyer has every right to neg you but as a buyer they should be fair and contact the seller to mutually agree to cancel the deal and refund all monies owed..ect.

But the buyer negged them for not selling as described..........which in eBays view is fair so nothing will be done. (unless it's defamatory and then they remove comments but leave the neg)

I think a seller not allowed to leave a neg is stupid.

I think sellers should be allowed to neg non paying buyers or timewasters.

If you refunded in full your most likely dealing with a horrible person so not much you can do, I never leave a negative unless I really feel its necessary.
Unfortunately a lot of people now know sellers cant neg so will leave a neg for the sake of it.
Ebays getting far to much hassle buying & selling anymore, had a buyer whinge they changed there mind not long ago & forced me to take the item back with threats so ended up postage & fees out of pocket for something that wasn't my fault.
