This was a question from someone wanting to bid on something I have listed on eBay.

"sorry to bother you,each time I bid it just comes up contact seller,dont know what to do,could you help."

I've had a google and really don't know what to suggest to the guy, has anyone else had this happen and how did you get round it?

Never heard that before, only thing i can think is if he is in another country and you block bids from other countries, or has low feedback and you block people with low feedback ?

Just checked and they are 100% BUT they are from Ireland, so that may be it. Just ammended the ad to accept international bids and think that may work. Cheers all.

biddesr get that message if they dont meet all your buyer requirements, so yes it will be either that they have strikes or live outsidr your shipping area. someone may well be on 100% but that doesnt mean they dont have unpaid item strikes against them, unfortunately there is no way to tell a bad buyer now as sellers cant leave negative feedback even when buyers scam or dont pay.

as long as they don;t ask for your email address you will be ok. I had someone only this morning email me a fake payment email for an item I had listed. What made me laugh is they send it to my communication / questions email address and not the payment address, plus sent it a minute before the auction ended plus paid 20p too much. Scammers got to love em for trying, I love being able to insult them for their efforts.
