When you list an item on Ebay, Even if you put UK only people in other countries can bid on your item which can ruin your sale if you are not wishing to sell abroad,To stop people abroad bidding on your items you need to edit your seller preferences and add buy requirements,Heres what to do for those who dont know,

To add buyer requirements to your listings:
In My eBay, under the My Account column, click the "Preferences" link.

In the Site Preferences section, click the Edit link. The Buyer Requirements page opens.

Select your buyer requirements. These include blocking buyers who:

Are registered in countries to which you don't post

Have a feedback score of -1,-2,-3 or lower

Have received two Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days

Have reportedly breached eBay policies

Are currently winning or have bought '1-100' of your items in the last 10 days

Do not have a PayPal account

Click the Submit button to save your requirements

I had a buyer email me recently and ask me to remove my requirements so she could bid... I emailed her back and said the only ones I have are no under 10 feedback (she had 150) and received 2 unpaid item strikes in 30 days... She emailed back and said, well yes, I have had a few unpaid item strikes, but i would like to bid on your stuff... lmao..

Buyer requirements are a must! They won't save you from every problem, but they do help.
