Just looking for some advice or wondered if anyone has had a similar problem.
I recently sold an item on eBay for best part of 400 quid. The buyer then tried to negotiate down the price via email which I refused. I offered him a mutual cancellaion of deal which he agreed on email but then when I submitted via eBay he refused and subsequently marked the payment as sent., meaning I have been left with a Final Value Charge of about 20 quid. (He has however sent nothing and left me bad feedback to boot!)
I have contacted eBay several times and get nonsensical replies from what I presume is an automatic system which detects the word "feedback" and send me rubbish about how the feedback cannot be removed and explaining that eBay do not get involved with feedback disputes.
This whole new eBay system seems totally unfair on the seller and I am left with negative feedback and a 20 quid charge. How do I go about resolving this? I'm not prepared to pay the charge which means my account will no doubt get suspended yet eBay don't ever seem to send a "human" response to any enquiries....
