Seller has 30 iPhones for sale, three of which he's auctioning, the others he's offering as Buy it Nows, so being inquisitive (without any intention to buy) I asked the question, how would I Buy it now as there's no option ? so the sellers just emailed me a link to what looks like a private auction between him / her self and me. Interested to hear your thoughts on just how the sellers going to get away with this ! PS iPhones in pic show 3G not 3GS

I'm sorry but do you really need to ask?

I'm lost for words once again on this site.

He has been a member since September last year, He has 6 feedback. All of which are for bought items, and all of which are extremely low value.

And now he is selling 30+ iphones with a generic photo ummm.

Yep... joking apart though the reason I posted it was to discuss the ongoing problem on Ebay and whether the seller would actually get away with it, after all we are talking ~ £9000.00 here !

Is there really anyone dumb enough to keep falling for these scams, they've been running for years now yet some people are so stupid to keep thinking they will get a bargin. It's not Ebay's fault just the idiots who shop there.

well i would guess yes, he will get way with it. as the police will not really be interested as ever.

I have seen on forums where 20+ people have been to the police, with the same details of a said con artist, with all the information of each case etc and the police have done nothing.

This is the reason why it keep happening, as noting gets done about it.

Sad but true.
