I bought a dual sim mobile phone off ebay fromn hong kong but i have a problem with it.

The phone dosen't read any sim card other than o2.He stated the phone was unlocked.

i have contacted him and he said that he would refund but i have to pay for postage.

Is that correct or should he pay for postage as it is not my fualt the phone is not working.

Also how much does it cost to send a phone back to hong kong?

Thanks

it doesnt matter if you pay for return postage or the seller does you will be unable to prove he received it back, so if he says he hasnt received it you will not get paypal to side with you

Doubt it.Its meant to come unlock but seeing as its not an actaul branded phone and its dual sim one i don't think that would work.

If i open a paypal dispute who would be likely to win it?

If it says unlocked, and it is not you'll win.........you'll have to post back fully tracked at your expense though........so good luck with that :(

Is it even worth it then.Phone cost me £18 and im pretty sure it will cost more than £5 to send back.
