I did leave positive feedback as the player was 1/2 charged when i got it so it was working perfectly but now the thing needing charging i have found the problem, i bought the item 5th December but i just wrapped it up, I have used a different charger to see if that made a diffen
rence but no it didn't seems to go about a quarter then stop

am sure he would of preferred that at least it doesn't need charging

If he was a decent seller he would have got back to you and helped you out even though you had left positive feebback. I don't think there is anyway you could now open a dispute - and he knows that. Did you check his feedback before buying?

Can you not take the batteries out or is it sealed?

Use the paypal resolution centreto report an issue with the item.

When escalate the claim as you have not had a reply.

See the below for help.

Remember to add rep!

it doesn't looked sealed just plenty of screws

makes no odds that youve left feedback ....open a claim in paypal to get his attention but dont escalate right away wait for his response

if no response then escalate vit

Here is a similar case to yours, hopefully this may help you. Click Here

Firstly you should contact the seller and explain the situation. If their feedback is as good as you say it is then they should extend every courtesy to helping you out by replacing the item. Obviously this may come at a cost to yourself as you would have to return the item. And remember to send it recorded or special delivery if it is a high value item.

If you have no joy in resolving the matter with the seller then raise a paypal dispute and look for options where it says item is faulty etc. You will be given the opportunity to state your case clearly and as detailed as possible, and also state the remedy you would like, i.e. replacement / refund etc. If the seller still does not engage then escalate it to a paypal claim. this will force the seller to respond and resolve. If the seller doesnt respond within a certain time limit then you will automatically be given a refund if memory serves me correctly.

Hope the above helps. cheers. :)

Did you read the rules??
Especially the bit about rep begging.

If no response to your mails after 14 days you can open a dispute with ebay AND paypal. Paypal will more often than not find in favour of the buyer but will deduct an admin fee too (around £14.99 I think)
You can also add follow-up to the feedback received though not change it from a pos to a neg
