I sent some boots to Portugal on 20/7/09 from an ebay sale. The buyer had emailed to say not received on Thursday, so told them about postal strikes, and also asked them to check their local post office as the box was pretty big.
Anyway rather than replying to me they have started a Paypal dispute yesterday and emailed me this time stating they were thought it was signed for when I had never said this! They had used a second ebay account to ask about postage, quoted a price and told them standard delivery! ( I know it was their second account as similar usernames and both live in same location)
I also sent a pair of shoes to someone in Leeds on 21/7/09, they only arrived this morning because of postal strikes! I have told the buyer about this, as yet no reply!
Is it just me or are some people too quick to jump to disputes? I have replied quickly to any emails she sent, offered advice an delay, asked her to check local post office, and also told her I will claim through post office as soon as correct amount of time elapsed if still not received, is that so unreasonable? Especially when she will not reply to my emails, I have had 3 off her in 3 days just saying where is my parcel!
Sorry rant over!!!!
