did you pay via paypal? go to the resolution centre and start a significantly not described dispute, either way you will have to pay to send it back and make sure you do send it signed for

there is not alot you can do as you bought it off ebay and it worked when you tried it. if you had of bought from a shop you could of returned it with your reciept and they probably would of changed it for a new one.

you could ask the seller for the guarantee paper work also if you didnt get them with it.

mardyass, sorry i dont agree with that it worked fine when she tryed it things ike this can happen at anytime the seller has sold it working.

was it sold as a new console?

Thats the risk you take for buying from eBay! If you had bought from an online or highstreet shop then you would have got 12 months warranty!!

Try paypal see if you can open a dispute! if not then looks like you are stuck!

Let us know how you get on.

regards.

I agree, the op stated it worked when it arrived, they gave it to a kid and now it doesn't work. What would you deduce from that?:whistling:

I hate ebay for reasons like this! I used to love it but now it just seems like a place people manage to palm thier carp off on others and get paid for it! last fews things I've bought off there have been poo... slight seconds and a dodgey dark item description photo turning out to be a complete different coulour item!? I stay away now.
If the seller sold it as new then it should still be in warrenty and he should take it back to where he got it from?! no charges to?!

i dont buy from ebay as had too much carp...bought a cutlery set once for £10 and £10 postage-arrived so tarnished it was rotting! seller refused to help. Paypal said return for refund at my expense-so i would pay £10 to return it and get £10 back....and the seller has the item to sell again. I binned it and i wouldnt buy again anything lke that-and prefer to buy where i can collect (unless clothes etc, small items)
