Hi all :)
Sold a boxset of the office complete series 1, 2 and xmas specials, disks were in good condition, sold it for 4.75 inc postage ( which was about 1.50 ), That was 10 days ago.
Now the chap has turned round and said the boxset is tatty and wants a refund!!! (which it was not, but with all outer cardboard items they will have some sort of wear, but it was little, I find this a bit cheeky to say the least but do not want to spoil my 100%, I thought he got a bargain!! any ideas on what I should do?
thanks :)

you will lose a paypal dispute,so tell him to return the item at his expense and offer a refund upon return of item minus your postage(unless you offered free P&P)....most likely he will not want to pay the postage and will not bother

its £5, just refund him and get him to send it back
sell it again for a better price.

Refund him the £4.75.

He will have to pay more than £1.50 to send it back so he'll be down over £3 and left with nothing.

He'll probably just keep them.

All the above is based on the fact that you are honest and you are sure the box was fine when you sent it out!

He's probably copied them and now has no need for them:w00t:

Thanks all :) Just wrote a message offering refund on item received, I would understand if someone says something straight away but 10 days is a bit excessive, ( I would have been v.happy with the deal )
Thanks to All ;)

It's because they have no doubt copied/watched them as stated above, that's why the delay.

Def offer refund of purchase price upon safe receipt of items returned; and he needs to get proof of postage, too - just in case he says he sent them back but they never arrived...not that I'm distrustful of anyone, just that I've had this done to me on fleabay...

ebayers are always taking the mick
they want it for nothing and then moan

He's got a cheek after 10 days - and what did he expect if stated used? If he wanted perfect he should have bought new. He got a bargain and if he's not happy refund him at his expense I'm sure he'll change his mind. He could have watched them and just resold them again - would have got his money back anyway.
