Ebay purchase, the seller sold the items to somebody else, I am gutted !!!

I bought a Fisher Price Imaginext Toy Story Walking Rex for £10.00 and also a Fisher Price Imaginext Toy Story Pig Ship for £15.00, both free shipping on Ebay yesterday.

Today I got a refund for both of them via paypal with no explanation, so I messaged the seller through Ebay and had this message through:-

hi im ever so sorry but my parter came back this morning and decided 2 tell me he sold them so ihad 2 refund u as i no longer have items 2 send.sorry again.

I have left them negative feedback as I am so angry as these were for my youngest son's present.

I am really annoyed and upset with them.

Just needed to sound off.................

Sellers can't leave negative feedback anymore so you are safe :)

happened to me once. the seller took 4 days to tell me they'd "lost" my item, grrr!
i'd definately leave them negative rep which is what i did

happened to me twice and the sellers said blatantly 'i want more for it' lol
that was before you could leave a neg without them responding with a neg for you!

Aww its not fair especially when you think you've got something of you childs xmas list, especially it being toy story.

That's rubbish, but on a brighter note I got an item for £1.99 which cost the seller £1.95 to post so after fees he probably lost money on it, but true to his word he sent it and it's a great item. I left him glowing feedback! It was the first thing he ever sold on eBay so I do feel slightly guilty but it's kinda his fault.

I had this happen, but buying off netmums, it was for a little tykes play cottage, the car we were using broke down, so i had to get my brother to go and pick it up, when they got their she said we'd already been! they'd obviously realised they could get more for it, but how about a quick message so you dont get your brother to drive miles out of his way!

I had that a few weeks ago,my sis was laughing but i felt really sorry for her and asked for her Paypal addy and sent her a couple of quid.

We're soft touches arne't we,in my case the item was free postage so after fees and paying for postage she'd made no money whatsoever ,she'd basically given me the item for free,i thought it was really good of her to send it because a lot of people wouldn't,the pics of the item were terrible and a really short description,i took a gamble on buying it i thought but because the top was new and branded i thought i'd take a gamble.

My sis said she would have duly accepted the bargain and not given her any extra but i felt bad for her :(
