Hey,

Ive just had an email from ebay stating that a seller wants to cancel a transaction we did on 1st June.
This is what he put - hi, i just want to get this transaction cancelled to get our fees back to keep prices as low as possible. This wont affect your account at all. Thanks

Surely this is not allowed??? Shall i just ingore it?

Just be aware that if you canel the sale and Ebay become aware then Ebay will suspend your account permanantly,
#9
what was the value of the item? can't blame him really but if he keeps doing he will get suspended i should think.
#10
surely if u cancel you will get a full refund because you should never have recieved the item? :P

Thats unfair, the seller is clearly doing wrong, particularly asking the buyer to commit to 'fraud'. If anything was to go wrong with the item or it is found that the seller is a persistent 'fee claimer' buyers will too be in hot water.

It was only for a fiver - not sure why he is bothering unless he does it to every single transaction he makes.

If i have to pay then so should he!
